I am very pleased to confirm that this Italian variety is, in fact, common. It is a sugar fig. It is a dark fig with pale white interior, slight seed crunch. We have only had a few of these, so it is tough to determine the flavor on a mature tree. However, the flavor was very mild, yet slightly sweet. It is a vigorous variety that is probably a mid season ripener. No winter data.
