This is an interesting variety. I obtained this variety five years ago from a very trusted seller, but I still believe it was a fake (despite claims that this yellow fig, does, in fact, turn a purplish color when overripe). This one is definitely legit and have ripened a few of these large figs. They have been very sweet and delicious, however, they do have an open eye and two of mine have split and soured. I believe splitting could be an issue during ripening in humid regions, considering it is such a large fig containing a flat bottom. Cool name, sweet, refreshing fig. Pot culture may be something to consider since it is a vigorous grower. Arid, hot places would probably love this variety.
