These grafted trees are selected Peterson, KSU, and a few old favorite varieties. These grafted varieties are superior in flavor and size as compared to most seedling started paw paws. They have much less seed content (multiple seeds typically have a membrane coat that can give the fruit a slightly bitter aftertaste). The reason why these grafted varieties have stood the test of time and are continuously propagated is that each typically have a unique quality that people really love (deep colored flesh, unusually sweet, very large, etc). These plants are two ft tall.
