Jostaberry is a cross between a black currant and a gooseberry. They are delicious for fresh eating, making wines, desserts, juice, preserves, etc. They have the same requirements as gooseberry plants and currants (partial sun, well-drained soil) and are easily maintained at 4-5 ft. They are self-fruitful and are an attractive small shrub.
