This is a Bordeaux fig that is on the late side, but is excellent. It is extremely complex and you can eat a lot of them without getting sick of them. Smooth black skin (with bloom sometimes), strawberry flesh. Very few splitting issues. I doubt it has much winter resistance as I planted two in six years and both died and did not come back. Pot culture only for the Northeast.
