Dark fig from Italy. Many of these end up as mule figs (like a girdle that produces two halves). There is nothing wrong with the flavor of the mule figs other than appearance. They are medium to large and have a red flesh. They have a nice berry flavor. It has done very well against our cold winters thus far.
