This is a very sweet fig. After having them for a few seasons, it is now kind of difficult to place it into a particular flavor category. Source was Gardencrochet. Sometimes they are more reddish inside, and other times they are lighter. Also, the skin is difficult to pinpoint. Early on when observing this variety, the skin would be almost yellow green with some red striping. I have had some without the striping and exhibit more solid coloring. As far as flavor, it is very sweet and only slightly fruity, or berry-like. It also has good winter resistance and is quite vigorous.
