This is a really good almost exotic flavored fig. Black in color with red pulp. This is an extremely vigorous variant. It makes really sweet black figs of average to slightly above average size. The flesh is red. The flavor is kind of strange because it seems to have very little berry flavor. It has fruity aromatics, but the flavor is almost plum like without any acidity. It has taken on two winters now, albeit, mild, with no dieback in zone 7a.
