This fig is similar to Ronde de Bordeaux and even ripens at the same time. The significant difference seems to be its superior resistance to splitting. I also feel that it seems to be more productive. RdB seems a little shy to produce. DTE seems much more productive (at least what I have observed over three seasons of comparison).
