Intense dark berry flavor. Later variety with tight eye, grey blue skin with many layers of flavor. This is my favorite of all the Col de Dame series. It really ripens at least 2-3 weeks before Blanc. I have it in the ground and it is extremely vigorous. It also ripens a fair amount of fruit as well, despite being late.
