This is a fun plant to grow for the holidays and can be grown in containers, hanging baskets or in the ground (requires acidic soil). These cranberries are larger than average in size with deep red color. The attractive ground cover can fill in an area easily and can be grown in Zones 4-8. Our soil is neutral to slightly alkaline, and it is quite easy to amend the soil with peat moss, composted pine needles and some gardening sulfur.
