This is an English Brown Turkey-type sugar fig with some really bizarre shapes. It can even have varying skin color. The flavor is pretty melon sweet and is pretty refreshing, rather than too sugary sweet like some. I have this one in the ground and it produces well. I spoke with the owner (source) of this one and he said his family brought it to western PA in 1903 and it has been here ever since. Neat story and good, hardy fig.
